Today is special because I’m sharing with you one of my favorite diy and interior design bloggers. Not only is she a blogger, she’s a designer, and contributing editor for the uber chic Domino Magazine. Her name is Jenny Komenda and she’s from the blog Little Green Notebook. I found Jenny’s blog several years ago when I was working full time and had a desk job. It was pretty bad because I was on her blog on a daily basis and checking out her high style, diy hacks , and dreaming of how one day I would to have a house that looked like hers. I never have related to someone and their style like I have with Jenny. Her style is classic eclectic.
Well, today I’m happy to feature her because she’s a person I highly recommend you check out because she shows you that if you have high end taste (like I do) and don’t have the budget, you can create a beautiful, interesting, and stylish home with a little elbow grease and paint.
Hello, my name is Jenny. I like flea markets and power tools, parties and pillows. I’m a mommy and a decorator, and a die hard DIYer. I love to design, blog and decorate. I lived in New York City for several years and last year relocated to Arizona. I started my blog, Little Green Notebook, and my interior design business, Jenny Komenda Interiors, in 2007.
My work has been recognized by editors at Elle Decor, Better Homes and Gardens, Vogue, House Beautiful, Lonny, House and Home, Good Housekeeping, HGTV and the Wall Street Journal, among other publications. My first love will always be smart and chic DIY projects. A close second place is hunting for unique fabrics and vintage furniture. I’m currently the contributing editor for the interior design magazine Domino Magazine.
Jenny is married and has three young daughters and one on the way
Here are some recent projects she’s done.
