I’ve been on a journey to get more healthy lately. There have been good days and bad days, but as long as I am continuing to make smarter choices, I consider it a win. A huge part of my efforts have been focused on drinking more water. So, in an effort to stay hydrated, I’ve been toting around bottled water with me everywhere I go. I’ve also been trying to replace my beloved Diet Coke with a sparkling water like the Dasani black cherry. I have to be honest, I still want my Diet Coke, the sparkling water is good, but it doesn’t quite do it for me.
But, I have increased my water intake lately by doing a few simple things:
I like to add fruit, cucumber or mint to the water to give it a hint of flavor. I find that when the water is flavored, I end up drinking more. I have also been loving the Dasani Drops Infusions–especially the strawberry basil one! It’s colorless, has no sweetener or sugar, it just adds a hint of flavor. Like you diced up a strawberry and threw a spring of fresh basil in your water, except much quicker when you’re on the go. So, I like to keep one in my purse for when I don’t have fresh fruit readily available.
Another way I trick myself into drinking more water is a cute new water bottle. It sounds silly, but it works for me! For some reason in our house water bottles slowly disappear. I have a feeling they leave the house with my husband, and never return. I love both my Ello glass bottle and my Contigo Jackson bottle.
Throw a Dasani Infusion in your purse for your next picnic, I’ve been keeping mine in makeup bag along with a few of my other essentials. It will help you with your daily water intake! I am so looking forward to spending a little time outside this spring before it gets too hot in Alabama. Scarlett loves to be outside, and so I am sure I will spend many an afternoon chasing her around the park!
You can use the Cartwheel app at Target right now for a coupon on Dasani! I want to thank Dasani and Target for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are 100% mine.
