Christmas is about giving and sentiment. This year I wanted to incorporate a personal touch to the gifts my family and I are giving this Christmas. My family had our pictures taken this Fall and I love how they turned out and thought it would be fun to turn family photos into Christmas gift wrap to use for the holidays! This family canvas picture of my family was my inspiration for this.
This is how my wrapping paper turned out!! I’m obsessed with it.
I chose the Collage Gallery Gift Wrap design. Designing this wrapping paper was extremely easy. All you do is fill in the spaces with the pictures you want. It took me less then 5 minutes to place the pictures in the online template. The great thing about this design is you place pictures in the first 3 rows and when the wrapping paper is printed it uses the 3 rows as your template and repeats it several times to make the design.
I was so excited when I got my wrapping paper. I’m dead serious when I say this is the nicest wrapping paper I’ve ever owned. The paper weight is really heavy and has a grid printed on the back which makes cutting straight lines a snap! I’m going to have a hard time seeing my family ripping this paper off because it’s so nice and it has my kids faces on it.
Not only is this a great way to customize your gifts but this wrapping paper makes a great gift for a loved one who is slightly obsessed with wrapping paper or wrapping things up. I made this SUPER EASY diy paper straw garland for my Christmas tree. All I did to make it was I cut different lengths of paper straws, strung them onto baker’s twine with a large needle, and strung them until the desired length. I quadriple knotted the ends to prevent the straws coming off. Stringing and pulling the straws at the end of the garland took the longest. Love how cute it turned out.
I hope this inspires you to have some fun with your wrapping paper for the holidays. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!
Thank you Shutterfly for providing me with the wrapping paper and for supporting Fry Sauce & Grits. My opinions are 100% mine!
