Courtney, Melanie, and Caitlin
Hello! I’m Courtney and I’m the black sheep of the family, I’m the only sibling in our family who doesn’t have red hair I grew up always wanting red hair because of how many compliments my sisters and brother got on how pretty their hair is. Hopefully I’ll produce a child with red hair. I’m the second eldest in the family was always the child who had a lot of energy. I’ve been called fun, crazy, outgoing and athletic.
After working in the medical marketing/pr field for several years I was tired of spending so much time at a job I wasn’t passionate about and didn’t love. When I gave birth to my first daughter in 2012, I made the hard decision at the time to quit my job to become a full time stay at home mom. I look back and It’s been the best decision I’ve made in my life, other thank marrying my sweet husband McKay. The thought putting my daughter in daycare to work at a job I didn’t like made me physically sick. From that day on I swore to myself from that time forward I would never work at a job I didn’t feel passionate about. I enjoyed being a SAHM but the “honeymoon” of staying home soon faded and I realized I needed something creative to do.
This blog has not only become a hobby but a way for me to be able to spend my time on things that matter to me and that I love: educating women on how bras should and shouldn’t fit, creating a beautiful and stylish home, beauty and fashion, sharing delicious recipes, creating things, and discussing woman topics that are important. Blogging has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, you gotta have thick skin, be constantly learning, and always push yourself. I feel so grateful I get to share this little journey with my best friends and sisters.
When I’m not blogging I’m a wife, a mother to a daughter and expecting another babe in spring 2015, and am an ordinary girl with lot’s of aspirations: join a roller derby, grow and build a business, write a book, travel the world, and live a happy fulfilling life with my family. When I’m not blogging I’m doing teaching women on the importance of how bras should and shouldn’t fit at Bra Fittings By Court. Make sure to follow me on Instagram and Periscope to get daily bra tips.
